Q: Is my pet in a kennel all day?
A: No, our dogs are free to roam inside or out, and are only kenneled for feeding times and bedtime.
Q: Do you offer a multi pet or extended-stay discounts?
A: We do not, it is the same amount of work for our staff whether your dog is here one night or 20 nights.
Q: Is your facility climate controlled?
A: Yes
Q: How often do you clean the kennel cages and rooms?
A:They are swept and disinfected twice daily, and more often if needed.
Q: How does your kennel handle emergencies?
A: The client provides an in town emergency contact when booking. Should an emergency occur, our staff will call the client first and then the emergency contact. Vet care is provided if needed by the clients vet, or the closest emergency facility.
Q:What do I need to bring with me when I drop my pet off for boarding?
A: Food, preferably in a resealable bag/container labeled with feeding instructions, and possibly a familiar item from the home or anything else you think would help your pet feel more at home. Vaccination records, medicine and detailed instructions, can all be uploaded into our booking software)
Q:How far in advance do I need to make reservations?
A:We recommend requesting a booking at least a month in advance for major holidays or anytime school is out of session. If your plans should change in the meantime, simply let us know by logging into your account and adjusting your booking request or by phone or email at least three days prior. You will make someone on our waiting list very happy!
Q: Can we see the kennel before boarding?
A: Absolutely! We encourage new boarders to come see the kennel. Please request an appointment for a meet and greet so you can bring your pet in for a “meet & greet” visit before boarding for the first time.
Q: What Vaccines do you require?
A: We require current Rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella.
